BTA swimmers traveled to Baton Rouge for the weekend to compete in the 2005 BTAC Mardi Gras invitational meet. The meet was a tremendous success for Blue Tide swimmers as BTA traveled to Louisiana and recorded over 200 top times over three days of swimming. Thanks to all the parents, swimmers, & coaches for a truly memorable experience filled with lots of fun and swimming. Pictured above is a group shot of a few BTA swimmers preparing for the parade on Saturday. Prior to swimming a parade of swimmers rolled around the pool, throwing beads to the fans in the stands. It was truly a sight to be seen. Many Gulf swimming teams joined the Blue Tide at this meet including, the Woodlands, First Colony, and Klein Aquatics to name a few.
